In My Defence
Rachel however has given up TV for lent and those who know rach will know what this means for me. You see i gave up chocolate and crisps which only really effects me. Rach, however cant watch TV before 6pm and for some reason goes for me as well.
Oh well, i hope that clears that up and now i must crack on with my essay (again)
Karl
Bad News!
- Karl has had to start his essay again (had done a third & all his nothes were on there!)
- We can't get the internet at home & so have to go the library!
- Karl is in a BAD MOOD!!!!
Now some of you think that Karl is never in a mood, and that it is always me - if that is the case please feel free to come and visit whilst the lap top is away and you can see his true colours (shining through!!)
It also means that we probably won't be updating the blog very often, no changes there then!
We are on study week this week which is good, but got lots of work to do!! An essay for Friday one for the following week and a sermon! What fun!
My sis and bro in law came to visit us on Friday and we had a lvoely cold day in London. My bro and his wife and my cous are coming to vist at the end of the week so that will be lovely to see them. However it does mean that I need to get my work done so I best be off!
Will post with photos soon I promise.

- Mum is doing very well after her knee replacement
College ...
We have been at College now for 5 months!! All our assignments from before Christmas have come back, and we passed them all! We are very happy!! Karl has now stopped treating it as a competition of who gets the beat marks as now I am beating him!!
College is going really well. It now feels like home, and we LOVE living in London!! We have visited lots of London that you don't get to see as a tourist. Each Saturday is like a new adventure.
This Sunday we start our next placement at Basingstoke. We have already met with the minister form the Church and have visited, but this week we will be us leading and we are also assessed! Let's hope all goes well.
College has been very challenging for us both and we learnt so much in such a short time. We have been challenged about what we believe, about things we have taken for granted for years, about what Church should really be about, about mission... the list goes on. Sometimes it a little scary what God is revealing to us, but extremely exciting at the same time. It is a good place, it's what you make of it!
And finally...
Thank you for keep checking to see if we actually do ever add posts! Make sure you leave us a comment to brighten up our day!

Belfast
We are having a good time and we have seen some fantastic social centres, and met some great people.
We have been based at a Family Centre but we have also had opportunity to visit a men's hostel and an old peoples home. It has been a great opportunity and we have learnt so much already and we have only been here 3 days!
There is too much to write about so we will tell you all about it when we see you next.
Please pray for Social Centres within the Army. They are doing a great job of meeting peoples needs and peoples lives are being changed!
We fly back to college on Monday, and we will be busy, busy, busy as we have an assignment to be handed in every week until Christmas!!
All work & not much play!

The CONGRESS!
We had to be up for 6am to leave for the airport for 7am! Not good on a Saturday morning!
We returned home on Sunday evening and got back to college at midnight.
Long weekend, lots of laughs and was lovely to see my mum and dad, however it would be closer to meet in Essex!

HALF TERM - The Hills are alive...
Unfortunately we still had lectures (well we did have 3 days study, but we actually did have work to do!)
sorry for those who came to stay and we didn't spend that much time with you, but it does show that at college we do work and its not all play!!!
It was great to see some of our friends - Karl had a great time playing with Jacob! Can't believe how much Sophie & Noah have grown!!!
Was lovely to see my sister & brother (and lee & Louise!) It was a good laugh. Our flat is a little on the small side, but we did manage to sleep everyone - not at the same time!!!
During this week we managed to get tickets to see the 'Sound of Music' It was great!! Even Karl enjoyed it!! And Connie Fisher was playing Maria! WE finished the day off with a nice meal (where we saw Ralph Little!!)
Another highlight of the week was having a picnic in Kensington Park with all the leaves falling off the trees - it was beautiful. It was very funny that Lee had sat in Bird poo! He had got it everywhere - how much were those wet wipes!!!
We miss all our friends and family &? love you very much!!! Thank you for being you. you are so special to us! xxxx
